This Magnificent Estate Must Be Preserved

The Isaac Adams Estate is on Wentworth Hill in the "Lower Corner" of picturesque Center Sandwich located in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region.

The Lower Corner Historic District with more than 20 buildings on over 400 acres was added to the National Historic Register in 1986 (Carroll County - #86003380).

The historic significance of this area is marked by its inspiring mountain views, rolling farmland, senior forests, exquisite architecture and amazing landscape engineering. Click here to learn more.

Denley W. Emerson, has been the owner of the historic Isaac Adams Estate for a half century. He came to Sandwich in 1939 as a hard working young man and quickly rose to become one of the most respected land owners in Northern New England.

Like a true Squire from the days when New Hampshire was a Royal Province, Denley amassed and stewarded thousands of acres, setting much of it aside in conservation trust. No man has done more to preserve the beauty and tranquility of Sandwich, New Hampshire. Now, in the twilight of his career, preservation of his vast real estate holdings on the famed Wentworth Hill are now foremost in his vision.
